What is the Charge Ready 2 Program?

Three years ago, Southern California Edison launched it’s first Charge Ready program where EV Connect helped dozens of businesses add more than 300 EV charging ports across Southern California. The second phase of the Charge Ready program has launched with additional funding to assist businesses and property owners with deploying EV charging stations at multi-family buildings and other business locations to meet the growing demand for clean energy charging options.

Program Highlights:

Program enrollment began on July 2021 and will end in 2025 or until rebate funds have exhausted.
$432M of available funding to support EV charging infrastructure
35,000 stations to be deployed in SCE Service Territories

What are the Rebate Amounts?

Rebate amount is $725 per connector, with higher rebate amounts for multifamily properties ranging from $1,450-$2,900 per connector depending on whether the property is located in a Disadvantaged Community
SCE Business Customers can use the Disadvantaged Communities Map to assist with qualifications and incentive details

What are the Program Requirements?

Eligible locations Include: Multifamily, Public Sector, Workplace, Business, and Commercial Properties. Additionally, entities and must be business customers of SCE.
A minimum of 4 connectors must be installed to qualify for funding
