What is the DTE Charging Forward eFleet Program About?
DTE Energy is offering business and commercial electric customers with qualified fleets a rebate of up to 30%-50% in savings to help offset the cost of EV charging infrastructure through the Charging Forward eFleets Program! This five-year, $13.4 million program is designed to support fleet owners by facilitating their transition to eFleets and integrating charger load efficiently with the DTE Electric distribution system.

Level 2 Chargers: qualified Level 2 commercial chargers could receive a rebate amount of up-to $2,500 per port.
DC Fast Chargers (DCFC): qualified DCFC commercial chargers could receive a rebate amount of up-to $70,000 per charger.

To be eligible for the Charging Infrastructure Enablement rebate, the Fleet Operator must meet the following requirements:
Be a non-residential customer of DTE Electric that is current on payments and in good standing;
Have or plan to purchase EVs as defined above within 24 months of the application date
Have the right to install, own, operate, and maintain EVSE on the Site, which must reside within DTE Electric territory, in accordance with the Terms & Conditions; and
Agree to install, fund, own, operate, maintain and network (via internet or cellular connection) new, qualified EVSE with a corresponding qualified Network Provider after application approval and maintain the respective EVSE in good working order at the Fleet Operator’s expense for at least 5 years after the installation date.
