What is the BGE EVsmart Program About?
BGE is offering rebates to their customers to encourage the growth of electric vehicle accessibility and use through their EVsmart Program. The EVsmart Program will propel progress on Maryland’s Air Quality and Chesapeake Bay goals. So, whether you’re an electric vehicle (EV) driver, considering buying an Electric Vehicle, or even a multifamily property owner, BGE’s EV Smart Program gives you the rebates, tools, and information you need to charge faster, smarter, and more conveniently than ever before.

Multifamily Property owners could receive up to $30,000 in rebates for adding EV charging to their property. BGE offers a 50% rebate on the cost of equipment (Level 2 chargers and Direct Current Fast Charging), warranty and installation. You could receive up to $5,000 per eligible Level 2 charging port and up to 50% on the cost of eligible direct current fast charging (DCFC) equipment and installation up to $15,000. That’s up to $30,000 in rebates* for each commercial property you own within BGE’s service area.
*Rebates are limited and available while supplies last.

To be eligible to receive incentives through the EVsmart Program:
You must be an active BGE electric customer and a Multifamily property owner. You will be required to provide BGE with charging data, as well as the costs the EV drivers pay to charge their vehicles.
