Available Incentives and Rebates in Southern California
Southern California has been approved for some of the largest electric vehicle charging programs in the country. These include programs from Southern California Edison, SDGE, LADWP, and several other utilities. As an approved vendor, EV Connect will guide you through every step of the EV charging station qualification, installation, and management process.
SCE Charge Ready Transport
SCE’s Charge Ready Transport (CRT) Program gives businesses the opportunity to install EV charging infrastructure to support a fleet of medium to heavy duty electric vehicles (EVs) at low or no cost. This program provides a unique opportunity for fleet operators choosing to acquire electric vehicles by providing support and reducing the costs with installing the necessary charging equipment.

Rebate amount is $725 per connector, with higher rebate amounts for multifamily properties ranging from $1,450-$2,900 per connector depending on whether the property is located in a Disadvantaged Community.

Will be purchasing or leasing at least two new fleet EVs or convert at least two fossil-fueled vehicles to electric, with the vehicles arriving on-site within 18 months from the time the application was submitted.
Own, lease, or operate a site located within SCE’s service territory where the EV charging infrastructure will be installed.
Agree to provide the necessary easements. Applicants, if not the owner of the site at which the charging equipment is to be installed, are required to obtain consent from the property owner to install the equipment and agreement that the property owner will grant any required easements.
Select, purchase, install and maintain the EV charging stations in good working order for at least 10 years.
Provide proof of purchase of qualified electric vehicles and accompanying charging equipment.
Agree to provide SCE with EV charging usage data from all charging stations used to fuel on-road EVs for five years.

Non-residential SCE customers are eligible to enroll to participate in the program. They must also operate a medium- or heavy-duty fleet, used for either on-road or non-road applications.
SDGE Power Your Drive for Fleets
San Diego Gas and Electric’s (SDG&E) Power Your Drive for Fleets program offers fleet owners and operators financial incentives to easily and cost-effectively design and install EV charging infrastructure needed to power medium to heavy duty electric fleets. The goal of the program is to make it easier for organizations to transition to an electric fleet.

Eligible sites can receive a rebate ranging from $3,000 - $75,000 per charger based on the charging stations power output.

Demonstrate commitment to procure a minimum of 2 electric fleet vehicles.
Demonstrate long-term electrification growth plan and schedule of load increase.
Provide data related to charger usage for a minimum of 5 years.
Own or lease the property where chargers are installed within SDG&E’s service area and operate and maintain vehicles and chargers for a minimum of 10 years

While all SDG&E customers operating medium- and heavy-duty vehicles are eligible for assistance through the program, certain sectors are particularly well suited for electrification including: Regional Fleets, Shuttle Bus Fleets, and Service Fleets.
SCE Charge Ready Small Sites Program
SCE Charge Ready Small Sites Program offers multi-family and commercial properties financial incentives to purchase and install up to four EV charging station ports. The goal of the program is to reduce EV charging equipment and installation costs needed to futureproof multi-family and commercial properties.

Eligible sites can receive a rebate ranging from $10,000 per port to install up to four (4) Level 2 charging ports.

Maintain the charging equipment in good working order for at least 10 years.
Provide SCE with data related to charging equipment usage.
Enroll in a qualified demand response (DR) program.
Participants are required to have the meter serving the charging equipment enroll on a Time-of Use (TOU) rate plan.

Rebates are available to non-residential and multi-family participants located within SCE’s service territory. Applicants are required to own, lease, manage (as a property manager or an authorized agent for the property owner), or be the customer of record for the project site.
