Evergy is offering rebates to fleet, workplace, businesses, and multifamily properties located in the central and metro areas of Kansas to reduce the upfront costs for installing EV charging stations and equipment. Whether you're looking to offer employees, tenants, residents, or customers the convenience of charging at your property, or you're interested in electrifying your fleet vehicles, Evergy’s rebate options can help you meet your business needs.

The EV Charging Rebate reduces the cost of installing level 2 (L2) or DCFC charging stations at your property. Rebate amount is $25,000 for workplace and multifamily properties, with higher rebate amounts for fleet and public charging ranging from $45,000-$65,000.

FLEET: a maximum of 10 Level 2 connectors and a minimum of 2 DCFC connectors may qualify for funding.
WORKPLACE: A maximum of 10 Level 2 Connectors may qualify for funding.
MULTIFAMILY: A maximum of 10 Level 2 Connectors may qualify for funding.
PUBLIC CHARGING:
Highway (Within 1 mile of a highway intersection): A minimum of 2 Level 2 connectors or 2 DCFC units must be installed to qualify for funding
Non-Highway: A minimum of 6 Level 2 connectors or 2 DCFC Units must be installed to qualify for funding.

This Rebate is valid for Customers in the Evergy Kansas Central and Evergy Kansas Metro territories on a first-come, first-served basis. To be eligible to participate in the Rebate, Customers must be a non-residential customer of Evergy being served under any commercial rate schedule that is not in collections or subject to an active payment agreement.
