What is Charge Up LA?

To foster EV charging infrastructure throughout Los Angeles, The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) is offering the Commercial EV Charging Station Rebate Program to incentivize the installation of Level 2 and DC Fast Charging stations for light-duty and medium to heavy-duty electric vehicles.

**Important Program Information: eligible applicants must have their site plan pre-approved by LADWP before applying for the rebate reservation from February 20, 2024 to March 1, 2024.

What are the Rebate Amounts?

• Rebate amount is $5,500 for each level 2 charging station.

• Commercial customers may also receive up to $100,000 per DCFC port with no port minimums under this program.

• Charging stations with more than one charge are eligible to receive an additional incentive of up to $500 per port.

What are the Program Requirements?

• Eligible locations Include: Multifamily, Public Sector, Workplace, Business, and Commercial Properties. Additionally, LADWP has set a target to install EV charging stations in state-designated Disadvantaged Communities. To find out if your business is located in a Disadvantaged Community, please use the map to assist with qualifications and incentive details.

• Purchased and installed on or after June 1, 2022.

• At least two parking spaces available to employees, tenants or the public to qualify for one charging station rebate. One additional rebate is available for each additional 4 parking spaces up to a maximum of 40 rebates per premises.
