Available EV Charging Incentives in Massachusetts
The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) is offering several rolling grant programs aimed at making electric vehicles (EVs) and EV charging stations more widely available across Massachusetts. MassDEP accepts applications on a first-come, first-served basis until all available funding is spent.
Workplace & Fleet Charging
The Workplace & Fleet Charging Program provides incentives for employers and fleet operators, as long as applicants have 15 or more employees in non-residential places of business. Rebate amount will be up to 60% of EV charging station equipment and installation, ranging from $50,000 per site for Level 1 and Level 2 charging stations. LEARN MORE >>
Fleets
This MassDEP rolling grant program provides incentives for public entities looking to buy or lease battery electric vehicles (BEVs), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), and zero-emission motorcycles (ZEMs). LEARN MORE >>
Public Access Charging
The MassEVIP Public Access Charging Program provides incentives for non-residential properties with publicly accessible parking. The rebate amount for government-owned locations is up to 100 percent of EV charging station equipment and installation, ranging from $50,000 per site. Multi-Unit Dwelling & Educational Campus Charging
