EV Connect Appoints Bassem Ammouri as Chief Operating Officer
Ammouri assumes leadership as the electric vehicle charging platform accelerates expansion and strategic integration.
EL SEGUNDO, Calif., May 17, 2024 — EV Connect, a premier EV charging business platform, today announced Bassem Ammouri as the company’s new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Ammouri will assume full responsibility for rapidly accelerating the Company's growth and profitability, and report directly to the Board of Directors.
As COO, Ammouri will drive the ongoing transformation of the company’s Go-to-Market approach, with a strategic focus on Enterprise Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), channel engagement, and further expansion into the European market. This pivotal leadership position will catalyze innovation, fortify market presence, and expand the prominence EV Connect has established in the EV charging landscape globally.

Ammouri joins EV Connect from parent company Schneider Electric, the leader in the digital transformation of energy management and industrial automation, where he played a transformational role in leading project operations for the Square D business and then orchestrated the integration of several software company acquisitions, driving revenue synergies with Schneider Electric and briefly served as the North American President for a portion of this business portfolio. Most recently, as Vice President of M&A Synergy and Integration, Ammouri collaborated extensively with prosumer portfolio companies, designing and executing innovative new business models. Prior to Schneider Electric, he began his career by completing General Electric’s Global Commercial Leadership Program and then holding positions in Product Management, Sales Engineering, and Regional Sales Leadership.
